This is a print of a watercolour painting of Starlings. They are lively noisy birds, who jabber away to each other with lots of different sounds. In the winter we have huge flocks of them swooping across the fields, landing in the trees and hedges and sitting on the telephone wires above us. So that is how I wanted to portray them, sat on the wires looking down on us and what ever else is going on around us. They are iridescent and with their little white flecks they sparkle, much more colourful than you would imagine.

The print measures 21 x 29.5 cm ( 8 1/4 x 11 3/4 inches) and is printed on Bockingford, acid free, archival paper.
